How to opt out
- Browser settings — most browsers let you block cookies for a specific domain (Safari: Settings → Privacy, Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies, Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security).
- PostHog respects the global Do Not Track signal — enabling DNT in your browser stops PostHog from setting the
ph_*cookies. - Meta Pixel — opt out via Meta’s ad preferences. The Network Advertising Initiative also offers a centralized opt-out at optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Google Analytics — install the GA opt-out browser add-on or block
googletagmanager.comin your browser’s tracking protection list. - Industry-wide — the IAB’s Your Online Choices (EU) and DAA WebChoices (US) provide one-click opt-outs across most ad networks.
Blocking these cookies will not break the site—the cover page and the Fanvue link work without them. It will reduce attribution accuracy, which is acceptable.
